Spoild
Kyler shooting off his rocket!
One of the three bounce houses
We moved up to the U family housing last summer. When Cam and I came up to look at the apt. before we moved in I went to the car by my self and cried.I didn't want Cam to know because I was trying to be supportive and do what need to get done so Cam could finish school asap! Since we have moved up here I have learned to NEVER judge a book by its cover. All though my apt. has not been up graded since 1970 and I have no dishwasher, one bathroom that is smaller then most guess bath, and my washer and dryer are separated by a room. (the dry is also in Makinley's room) Cam and I agree that this is the funnest place we have ever lived. In the last year we have had: multiple movies, cheep lagoon tickets, really cheep raging water ticket, BBQ, and parties with bounce houses and lots of activities for kids. ALL for free with free food. Sat the U had a back to school bash when I realized that never in my life well we ever live somewhere that does so many things for us, nor will we ever meet such amazing fun giving friend like the ones we have gotten to know up here! I am so glad we have had the oppertunity to live here!
Like Father Like Son
Just Camerons shoes!
Now that Kyler has started school we have some funny conversations, the other day we were in the car and Kai ask mom what does hola mean. I say it means hello in Spanish like "hola senorita". Kai asks what does that mean? "It means hello cute girl." Kai says "but I'm not a girl!" "No Kai your a cool boy." Kyler then informs me he is only kind of a cool boy because he only has two cool shoes. I ask him how many shoes he needs? He tells me,"At least 3 white pair, 5 black pair, 1-2 more black and white pair, and maybe one brown pair of shoes." As he says all of this I start laughing and realize that he has described his dad's shoe closet and I began to see that there are things that are born with in our children without us ever pushing them on them:) Ha Ha I had no idea he was paying that close atintion!

Oh No What to Say
Today I woke up Kyler and got him in the shower to get ready for school. As he is getting undressed and still half asleep he turns to me and says "So mom how are you and Dad?" I tell him good and ask him what he means? He says "well I know you want dad's money?" I just reply oh yeah. Kai then says "Well you know mom you can always get a job!" I tell Kyler that I have a job I take care of him and if I didn't stay home with him he would have to go to day care and be with a stranger all day. He then replies with well I don't think it is fare that you stay home with us and dad has to go to work and you get all the money. I just tell him that life isn't always fare. Luckly Cam agrees that life isn't always fare. (For Me)

Second Day of School
Kyler started school on Sept.1, he loved it so much! He was so big and to my surprise so was I. I had a little freak out the night before. I cried like a baby, but when the big day came I was just happy for him:) The next day was another story! Because we live so far away from the elementary they have a bus that takes the kids to school. I knew it wouldn't be long before Kai wanted to ride it since the first day he asked if he could. After the first day Kai said he was going to ride the bus the next day with all his friends, but that night when we were getting ready for bed he asked if I would take him. I was so glad and said I would take him as long as he wanted me to. When Cam got home he was talking to Kai about the bus and Kai told Cam that I was taking him. Cam who thought he was helping his son grow up told Kai that HE was riding the bus to school. Kyler who wants to be just like dad said he wanted to ride the bus too:( The next morning Kai checked with Dad that he was still riding the bus to school, so then Kai was too. I walked Kai to the bus stop gave him a hug.(we can't give mom a kiss in front of people) Walked inside called my sister Chelsea and cried for like 15min:) Kyler loves the bus and I am so happy that he never saw my break down:)
